The added postage cost is making $5-& book really hard to sell.

I have some sub-$15 books I’m still trying to sell, but going forward, I’m largely passing on anything I can’t price at $20 and up. Opportunities to buy books at less than cover price are too infrequent.

I’ve seen mixed reviews of the new Wolverine game. I’ll give it a rental. Perhaps if it has any little plot points from some specific comics those will take off a bit. It is separate from any comic stories but I read it draws inspiration from a mix of stuff.

The design team at Marvel is the worst in the biz. More often than not, they take good/decent cover art, and wreck it with terrible logo design/placement.

It’s funny, because I was already thinking, “It’s a shame about that bright yellow DNX in the corner” – and then the real trade dress is revealed.

That cover was pieced together from cards released in the '90s right? I’m in my 40s so my memory may be spotty haha
Google confirms my memory isn’t as bad as I thought, X-Men series 2 cards for anyone else who did not know. I knew that artwork was really familiar.

Is that supposed to be what draws one to this cover? I felt it was a bunch of random stuff thrown together…so much I dont think the placement of the trade dress matters…fits the chaos, if anything…
Just ran into Phillip Kennedy Johnson again. Haven’t seen him in forever. Such a great guy. Good memory too.

Not my thing at all but the Pokemon 30th anniversary cards/set releases today. Lines at Best Buy, cards shop all around town here.

Speaking of Pokemon…anyone else get that AI commercial on YouTube with the guy screaming at the top of his lungs with a truck load of cases of some Pokemon card series….? If not I’ll screen shot it. He is so annoying…practically bullies a woman trying to help him out he’s so animated with the arm waving and screaming.
I saw a weird trading card ad with an AI knock-off of Kevin Hart.
