I think the Avengers Armageddon 4 spoiler variant might be a slow burn for delayed heat when The new Avengers series debut. If it’s a success this could be sought after.
Should be a good series with a stellar creative team of Zdarsky and Chechetto. Reminds me when New Avengers by Bendis. At that time it was the biggest thing for marvel.

This “more is cheaper” shipping thing is bizarre. I just sold a book, so I’m testing out a few things.
8oz - $5.93
9oz - $6.35
13oz - $7.02
Here’s where it gets weird
1lb 1oz - $6.03
2lb - $6.03
3lb - $6.33
4lb - $6.40
13 ounces costs more than 64 ounces.

It doesn’t work on all books, but certainly works on many. I test the prices on all the orders going out.
Is that eBay? Mercari is upping charges in oct. ugh
With Diesel prices where they are, I’d expect shipping costs to jump everywhere. But, yep, that’s eBay.

USPS in my area is all electric. So is Amazon. Wish we could ship through Amazon. Selling comics eBay style on Amazon would be a game changer.

as we enter the 3rd quarter I was wonder how everyones sales are, I am down 50% from last yr, it been a tough year for me so far.

My eBay tells me I’m up 9.6% over last year in totals sales dollars, but down 2.4% in total amount of sales.
I will try to figure out how to even look up these stats!
Very slow last couple weeks but says I’m up 25% over last year at this time. I did make an effort to post more ads this year so I’m sure that helped.
Last week I was up greatly. Books were flying out of here. I have been better curating my listings, but sold a ton of books. Nice mix of hot new books and older valuable things.

I’ve already made 112% of my entire 2025 sales with three months yet to go. June and July were the only two slow months.
But, I don’t know how sustainable this is. I’m struggling to find new inventory. I was in another state for my kid’s soccer tournament, and I stopped at a large shop with tons of books. Found absolutely nothing.
I keep trying to expand what I am selling. New hot books have been doing well lately and I have been focusing on that. Also focusing on books I can get a ton of that sell well, Ben 10 #1 for example I have sold 25. Those Midnight Ashcans I have gotten for free I have sold about 25 of them too. Have hit several Third Eye locations and have sold 3 of their Dorc TPB Vol 1 at $50 each.
Tried it today. Went from $7 to $10 when I passed the 1 lbs threshold.
Will keep trying.
