So how much time between when you said what you said and time remaining on the live bidding for someone to do their research verifying what you said was factual?
I’m assuming seconds….and who ever bid after that just took your word for it. Correct me if I’m mistaken.
For all anyone could have known, you could be a planted shill…working with the sellers to spur fomo buys. Think of it…seller plays dumb, shill makes comment seller is dumb for letting books go cheap. Buyers eat it up.

I only sold my CGC 9.8. I still have a ton of raw copies.
It was sudden death so the time left was like 3 seconds. The seller said they don’t want people saying prices because people could be lying.

Oddly enough, I have had more books sell on Mercari this week than eBay. About 3x more this week.
ASM 149 doing well…at least in volume. Looks like lower/mid grade copies doubled in price ($15-$20 to $40 and up).

I got my copy for $2 in an antique store about 35+ years ago. One of my favorite ASM books, and one of my few remaining from my childhood I kept. It’s a cool clone cover.
I found a French copy in a Montreal comic shop a few years back too…had to pick it up.
Anecdotal, but I was surprised how many ASM #1000 variants were already gone or down to 1-3 copies at my LCS by this afternoon. The most plentiful still were both John Romita Jr. covers.
Checked three by me. One shop hasn’t received anything yet. Two others only got 1/4 of their actual order. No JSC and Ravage covers at all.
There’s a ton of sales volume for ASM 1000
My shop was wiped out of ASM 1000 and they got a lot of copies. I was surprised.

i think so, blind bags have like 15 dollar msrp, and with cards not announced till after foc. might not be a flood of them
