New Ghostbusters! Gonna bridge the gap between the two movies. I know a lot of people panned the last one, but I really enjoyed it. Sure its a bunch of goofy kids, but what the hell, although in the trailer I think its funny that the mom straps on a proton pack and suddenly is a ghost buster.

On a side note here. Jim Lee is coming to a LCS for a signing but is charging $60 for his signature. Would you guys pay $60 for it? I know @agentpoyo wont pay for signatures so he is out of this conversation lol

Theres a very small handful of books that you could justify paying that price to sign. I would only pay for a signature if it were a scenario where the book would be way more valuable, ie, star wars #1 signed by carrie fisher, james earl jones, Harrison ford and mark hammil. Thats worth it, but otherwise im a hard sell.

The guy is an excellent cover artist, but I find his sequential art (i.e. interior art storytelling) to be abysmal.
I wouldn’t pay $60 unless I thought there’s someone out there who’s willing to pay a goober amount once slabbed.

DC Comics has announced plans to reveal the Clown Prince of Crime’s definitive origin story in the pages of Batman next year for a story titled “The Joker Year One.”
Again? How many times have we been told this already…now we’re supposed to believe THIS is it. Nah.
Sounds like it’ll be a fun read, regardless. And if this is whey finally gets us a facsimile edition of Detective 168 to tie into it, I’m all for it.

I like Lee but I wouldn’t pay $60 unless I had something amazing/unique to be signed. If it’s a long-haul investment piece, I would just wait for the next official CGC signing, unless there will be a witness at the LCS.

Their will be a CGC witness but yeah not worth it. Its also 35min drive up north so gas is very expensive here. Finally went down to $5.65 lol. Might just wait and see if I catch him at SDCC or another local con that wont charge as much for his signature. Thanks guys…
Joker has a lot of origins. The whole idea is that any can count I’d argue. We don’t need a, “Definitive.”
