Dammit Tony… I just got the popcorn prepared and ready!
With this Topic certainly is ODD and needs to END …
I don’t think the topic needs to end, having discussions on differing opinions without one side or the other shutting down the conversation is good, it’s more of a “know your audience” kind of thing.
People who are affectionate are great. I am glad they can show their love for each other. Just please don’t do it at the Thanksgiving dinner table.
I think they meant the current discussion, not the thread itself.
Where do I put this handful of mashed potatoes? I was going to throw it…
One of my favorite episodes of Jerry Springer was when they had a whole bunch of people sitting around a table with a Thanksgiving feast and they all just started throwing food at each other and fighting. I’m pretty sure the episode was titled, “Redneck Thanksgiving,” or something silly.

I’m excited to see how this new sith from SW 35 plays into Luke’s future
Interesting article about a small vendor using IP without permission and results.
Which is exactly what DC did with the Wonder Woman #1 Facsimile they put out a couple months ago, but we all know Disney/Marvel is getting more and more ridiculous everyday.
Oh well. Normally this wouldn’t have worried me…ten years ago, but now it is so apparent that there are aspects other than pleasing the comic book fan base in play. If all this is true you would think Marvel has learned from the constant failings the past three or four years. Guess not. Seriously, if Marvel has to keep pressing this button why not just make and A-force film to fit that narrative and give the fans the X-Men film they want instead of the X-Marvs.
X-Men has a strong female cast, Jean Grey, Rogue, Storm… They could carry a film. But if they are trying to do another “empowering strong female buddy movie” I am not sure it will fly. Marvel needs to stop trying to go back and reinvent the wheel and give people what they want, good stories based on the characters they love. This does not mean they cannot do movies that are female led, or inclusive, but for the continued success of the movie line, they need to go back to what was working.
An ALL female X-men movie will fail.
Just make A-Force and be done with it.
Disney needs to check those boxes…
I’m down for Mr. Sinister as long as they are delightfully over-the-top insane.
Im ok with it, X-Men is about diversity and Jean has led the team many times along w/ Kitty and Storm. But leave the “female-led” rhetoric out, its not needed. just be “X-men” or “X-Wom…” …crap lol
Mr Sinister is a cool villain
if you saw the Timeless spoiler cover …
so does this book mean anything?
I was flipping through channels over the weekend and caught Captain America starting, which I don’t even know how many times I’ve watched it. I enjoyed it all the same. Good characters, good story, good actors =good movie. I don’t understand how Marvel doesn’t understand this anymore. Not saying everything in the past couple years has been bad…but what was the last movie you REALLY wanted to see and couldn’t wait for it to release?
Me and my kids watched Shang Chi when it came out on Disney Plus. We all enjoyed it. The problem was, it was not Shang Chi from the comics. A good old fashioned Kung Fu movie was needed. Even a modern Kung Fu movie like Kung Fu Hustle would have been cool. It is about fight scenes with the character and not dragons. Prime example of reinventing the wheel when it doesn’t need to be.
