My dad worked for the local cable company, Every so often he’d bring home some cool stuff.
I still remember the day when he brought home 3D glasses so we could watch the broadcast premiere of “Revenge of the Creature.” The first syndicated 3D broadcast across the country.

I remember that. It was always a big deal when they broadcast in 3D and you had to get glasses from somewhere or another
I remember watching that! I thought is was good. No idea if it was or wasn’t, I was a kid and just thought the whole thing was cool. Didn’t take much to keep kids interested before the internet!

PayPal customer service is absolutely useless. I spoke to “Brian” who looked into my fraud claims on my account and said that they determined them fraud. Said they will not release the money until Apple refunds them. I told them that the determined it fraud but still holding my money. He said we can give you a provisional credit but they want the money back from Apple first. Long story short. And I was extremely nice, he hangs up the phone.
Oddly I’ve had good experiences when I call PayPal. I have the business debit card tho, if that makes a difference in the quality of customer service?
The fraud was on my business debit card.

Hard to believe the refs screwed them yet again, but this time it didn’t cost them the game. Great game with two really talented teams. Awesome to see Goff and Detroit victorious.

I remember that season. They had one of their best seasons ever with a young Barry Sanders…that guy was fun to watch…, but had to face the 14-2 Redskins in the NFC championship, who were arguably one of the best teams ever put together (pre salary cap). The Skins that embarrassed a solid Bills team in the superbowl.
To think they hadn’t won a playoff game since before cell phones and the internet were a common thing!
Would like to see a Lions/Bills Superbowl!

My long awaited basement renovation starts today. They will start the framing of the walls. I cannot wait until it is done as my comic side will be completely walled in with a door. We are putting a big family room down there, walling in the laundry room, and adding a bathroom which will have a Jack and Jill style doors, one going to the main section and one going into the comic room. Will show pictures when it is completed.

I miss basements. Hard to find houses on the west coast with them. Homes built in the past sixty years don’t even have a sub-basement.

they have the outside walls framed in so far, need to frame the wall between the family room and the laundry room and the bathroom.
