All my saved searches or books I look for I already know the prices. So any increases or decrease are noticeable. Their mistakes on books can actually be profitable and clear Drek from your collection though.
We should rename the app to Oxymoron’ic!
An example in the past is I had 4 active bids on Daredevil #9 at the same time, wanted to add a couple to the collection that week. KC alert came out on the book, bids doubled or more in less than 5 minutes. It was good to know why as artificial interest can be somewhat overcome by a calendar reminder to look again after people forget about the alert.
No matter how many times they change it, it still reads the same way - wrong
Wouldn’t the doubled price on the platforms you buy from tell you that the price has doubled? Why do you need an app to tell you what’s already in front of your face?
I stopped using them when Nick stated in a video that they send out alerts because the creators paid/requested him to.
I believe this is the video. Its been a few years, so I cant remember the time stamp of when he makes his claim about sending alerts out at the request of creators. I think its around the 50 minute mark.
Just curious what the Mile High Collection has to do with Nick. I can’t sit through the video
@Anthony …I thought the collection video was Nick buying a collection, not a bio of the Mile High Collection. Admittedly, I haven’t actually viewed the 2nd video. I made silly assumptions based on the title. My bad.
The first video in that post, I have watched and heard Nick say he made alerts at the request of certain creators. I posted the video in case any one else wanted to hear it from the mouth of who said it. I also couldn’t sit through that, again.
No worries. I think he is reading the story of the Mile High Collection that is posted on the website. Not his story but Chuck from Mile High’s
@anthony CHU should consider doing this (for a fee of course)… it could be a game changer in you quitting the day job… woohoo!
@Anthony could start making posts about how, “This comic might heat up,” and have a teeny tiny disclosure at the bottom of the post he was paid to promote it? Sounds equally genius and awful. I think Tony has morals though and you do too, @agentpoyo. I mean, if you don’t get that money I guess, lol.
Yeah, sadly we do have morals and would never actually do this.
“This comic is going to heat up”
2 hours later: video of the comic burning
Time to be like Jim Cramer and just scream about comics while slamming a buy or sell button!
Jim Cramer…Jim’s Comics…coincidence?
Jim Carey, Jim Parsons, Slim Jim’s….Jim Bean.
Wait…. You can order booze on the target app?
