Two cheap books (possibly still free) to look out for: Uzumaki Halloween Comicfest and Tomei Halloween Comicfest. Both are Junji Ito Horror Manga. Yes, we know manga books do not tend to heat up, but we now have a precedence with a FCBD manga comic heating up, and these are the Halloween Comicfest comics. We saw the One Punch Man FCBD rise with the news of a live action media deal.
Well, Tomei is getting a live action Quibi show according to Deadline. Uzumaki is getting an Adult Swim show and has already started casting voice actors for leads. Might be interesting to see what is going to happen to these comic book format issues as the manga digests never seem to heat up.
