(In case anyone cares, winning “bid” was $625k w/o buyers premium…so basically it only increases about $100k, or 20%, once it went live.
Now that I understand how.
BTW, next time we’ll have to create a buffer between bids to avoid that $.001 bids…auctions don’t allow such bids…

It blows my mind that the people who who willing pay out a HUGE buyers premium are the same people who ask for every single deal and discount they can get on a McDonald’s order.
I’m spoiled by eBay as a buyer. No premium for me, just what I want.
You do know that buyers pays for all the premiums (even those on ebay), right? LOL

It is not a matter of interpretation, but rather just good business practice by sellers actually.
In original art, sellers often bump up the price that they will accept in places like comicartfans or facebook marketplace, when they list the same piece on ebay to cover ebay fees.
