They can pump the books all they want to, but Iām not going to buy them. Iām not paying $35+ for a new book that isnāt signed either. I only have 4 momoko books on preorder and 3 of them are signed.

Good for herā¦ sadly I wonāt be picking every cover up. But if it was actual peach cobbler, sign me upā¦ love me some peach cobbler. 
Hopefully for Boom, Peach stays hot. If that happens then sadly you will be buying a bunch of Boom books
So hereās what will happen and I think we all know this was comingā¦ overuse of the artist by publishers and store variants are killing her mojo. I think sheāll continue to pump out some cool covers but the demand will lessen as more and more are created.
We saw the same thing with Artgerm, Mattina (and I think he had some other controversy issues that caused most to back away from his work), Jock and just about every other artist that people sought after.
Will her covers still be good pickups? Some will. Will they continue to heat up, probably not so much (unless itās a highly sought after ratio cover).

This is a smart move by BOOM! though. There might be less spec with more covers being put out there but sheās gonna make BOOM a whole lot more money in the meantime cause youāre going to see a likely increase in Momoko variants being ordered by retailers.
Good for her, good for Boom. Donāt think Iāll be buying any as I donāt have any of her covers yet.

Spider-man 46 at the comic mint on 7/12 @ 2PM EDT. Iām going for this so naturally the price is going to be stupid and it will sellout fast.
$15 for trade dress. Pretty standard. I might go for a trade dress. Not a fan of virginsā¦(Yes, still talking comics).
Itās a 3000/1000 trade/virgin too. So even the virgins shouldnāt sell out immediately. Probably within the first hour, though.
The gwenom ghost spider momoko is still a in trade as well. One of the covers I do like. Could get hot if/when spider-Gwen gets her live action movie and venom is a villain.
Usually the mint has a discount code too For such new releases that apply to the whole order. So look for that in their email. Or just guess āmomokoā and you might get lucky.
I did that for the Harley 75 maer books.

Here are some sketch variants. There is no set print run. Whatās cool is that for $20 more you can get the set signed by Frank Gogol (Dead End Kids). I havenāt read Dead Ends Kids so I canāt speak to his writing.
I believe half of all the sketch print covers proceeds goes to charity.

So basically he is saying ābuy it because it is going to sell outā and then tell you what it is the day before it sells out? Sounds like capitalizing on fomo
