I think Saga was the other book that BKV kept at $2.99 as well… Easy to keep cover price lower when your doing a 50-60k print run each issue.

I’m surprised you didn’t recommend Cates to be doing he milking…
But I guess he just writes the stories…not orders extra printings…
It only applies as “milking” if they kept making printings when nobody is really “demanding” the books… additional printings are due to demand. I don’t recall the world telling Kirkman we all want to buy 193 issues of Walking Dead in color… unless I missed that really huge zoom meeting…
I knew a 3rd print was coming!..Pretty sure we all did. Now, will it have a larger print than the 2nd? I have a feeling not everyone under the sun caught the 2nd print bus when ordering, doubt that will be the case for the 3rd… the 4th or 5th will probably be pretty small though. the 6th print will be the one I want. My guess it will be a glow in the dark cover. Can’t wait!!! Marvel really should just do Poke’mon inspired covers to their variants…Gotta get them all!!!

I agree completely that the later prints are getting out of hand. I’m even seeing a few DC color change second prints climbing.
Yes I’ve bought some of these later printings lately, especially the Thor & Venom ones (although my LCS still hasn’t received the Venom 25 2nd I ordered, luckily I got a few coming from online), but i can’t see many holding value long term outside of the first cover appearance ones.
Venom 3 3rd, Venom 25 2nd, Thor 4 2nd, etc…

I’ll wait for the 1:100 second print of the 14th print with translucent pages where everything is printed backwards including the type face with a personally written letter from the editor saying how much of an idiot I am for chasing the reprints and thanking me for helping pay his ex con girlfriends nephew’s teamster initiation fees and union dues.

lot of sales of the 1:50 today in 9.8, auction ended at 797 and all buy it now’s sold right before and after
I know where raws are for $150
