Spec = guess. Spec is also an investment not an instant gratification type of play. It’s pretty tough to be a comic book day trader or even swing trader.
Is DC spec bad or do people just have Marvel’s junk so deep down their throats that they flip out over the littlest, most unimportant bits of spec, like Avengers Forever 3 or Iron Fist 1? Do they really think that Rayvonna Renslayer is going to be a Moon Knight in the MCU? Do they really think that Swordmaster will become Iron Fist?
avengers forever 3 i get, future marc spector daughter. but iron fist #1 was what i consider missed the boat spec. they missed on new agents 1-2 and on swordmaster #1 so they go for that

Not sure if this is the best thread, but I ordered a copy of this from the IDW site today. I’m a big Godzilla fan, not so much Power Rangers, but I thought it was cool. Online exclusive, there’s a bunch left. Probably not much spec, but thought someone else might be interested

I initially thought the Miles 38 1:10 might warm up a bit, but there are a bazillion pre-orders on ebay for CHEAP. Not a good sign. It’s a character that isn’t going away (Billie), but to me the Spider-Smasher angle seems kinda meh. Maybe the Bartel open order will be the better play, but the A is solid, too. I’m skipping the incentives on this one.

I’m not sure the Bartel cvr is good enough to move the needle. Personally, I would go with cvr a and the 1:50 only. Miles is never a heavily ordered title, so I think we’ll be ok.
