It wouldn’t be the first time a writer focuses on talking about the main title in a panel and doesn’t talk about the tie-ins/one shots. The main title is his focus.
In the grand death metal story, legends isn’t really that important. It’s just origin. We care about it more because we care about first apps, cameo, full, etc…
The robgoblin that you believe becomes Robin King is from Earth 22 so his parents would be on Earth 22 as well, even though Joker killed all the robgoblins parents in front of Batman who then becomes Batman Who Laughs. So who killed Bruce Waynes parents on E22 Robin King Bruce Wayne, Joker who made the robgoblins, or the mugger that’s set Bruce Wayne on his path to become Batman on E22 and then fall victim to Joker and become the Batman who laughs on E22. We can’t have Bruce Wayne’s Parents killed three ways in the same story on the same Earth.
Sure we can… When its all based on fiction… Same Universe or Earth, different dimension…

If he is from another Earth then that’s what I’ve been saying he’s not this Robgoblin or there has to be a way he got here and assumed the Robgoblins identity because he is technically another Dark Batman He’s Bruce Wayne mixed with Robin like Batman Who Laughs is Bruce Wayne mixed with Joker so he would be the Dark Batman of whatever Earth he is from.

I’m not convinced Robogoblin from DM 2 is the same as the original ones back in Metal.
Couldn’t It be as Drogio mentions, he goes through robogoblins and this one is merely a newer one? He then could have his own origin (different from the original Robos) and be Bruce from another Earth.
Or as Poyo mentions, it could be as simple as Snyder retconning Robogoblins origins that Tynion wrote. He won’t be the first writer go retcon an origin and he won’t be the last.
Even in Robin history…Birth of a Demon was an elseworlds story until Morrison retconned it into Damian Wayne’s origin.
Who knows. We don’t have all the pieces yet. But if it’s dueling Robin Kings I will definitely give you credit. On a side note you better move those 1:25s if it’s dueling Robins lessening their importance

The real winner will be when they do the next Death In The Family story and kill Robin King in it… I love me some dead Robin… That’s the book to own. Thats when we find out evil Bruce was actually Alfreds son after his affair with Martha Wayne… It’s why he was blinded by his evilness and protected him until it was too late.

Bruce Wayne is the keeper and care taker of Robin so name RobinKing isn’t because he’s a Robin it means he is the King of the Robins like All the Bruce Wayne’s controlling their Robins before him. He’s Robin King aka Bruce Wayne and not King Robin.
Metal The Batman Who Laughs one shot is the first appearance of E22 and has the origins for the Robgoblins and Batman Who laughs.
