Because it doesn’t have a first app in it. People chase first apps over good stories.

We both know they dont tend to over print variants. Mostly cover A’s. It is still in stock though and dc mentioned it
I feel you on nit getting re stock, whats worse is when ucs sends tou the wrong comic altogether. This week instead of legends ot dark knights i received the same amount in batman the adventures continue #3. Alex and the support team at UCS have avoided my question if i will get the comics I ordered

It isnt even about honoring the sale. Its the fact that they will do this to a retailer. We sell theor products, if we dont have their products we cNt sell it. Even if its a shipping error, that means i should still have those comics there to exchange for. I was a fan boy for ucs being a distributor. Now not so much.
While cover B/C/D (non ratio) typically do get printed less, when a book pops it’s the A cover that rises above the rest (unless character is on cover of a B/C/D and not the A).
Similar thing happened to my shop. Det Com 1023 instead of X cover A and X cover B, they sent him all cover B.
So, I never said the market was wrong, when it decides which one is the more valuable one. However, if you follow what I’m actually saying, the market does not decide first appearance. They’re simply a first appearance, whether they’re a cameo, shadow, first full, first cover, etc…
So yes, the market isn’t wrong when it comes to which one people desire the most which increases the overall value of a book or item. But the most valuable or desirable doesn’t take away the fact that a character appears or not. Value is determined by demand and how much people are willing to spend for an item. Demand does not dictate if the character’s appearance in the book is a first, cameo, full, etc…
Maybe that makes sense now…

Dont know why you all are in a rush. Several stores have this variant for sale. Frankies, Golden Apple, the usual partners…etc. And…sells out ? HAHA…you mean…they stop selling copies to drive up demand and ebay prices.

I snagged a Trade. Don’t care for her artwork, but this one is a decent cover and will definitely retain value moving forward.
What Robin King, I got it because I’m a big fan of The Crow I guess this is the Edward Furlong version
Rather put that $$$ towards more Legends #1 for better ROI!
