But Darkest Knight talks about the story when BWL and Dr Manhattan merge in DM#2 and in DM Legends Darkest Knight also mentions the story again.

So I finally got around to finish Econ/Bill’s video tonight on Codex. If you recall he is who broke the Robin King news.
Take it for what it’s worth but if you go forward to around the 7:40 mark he states that the Robin King in Legends is the same Robin King in Death Metal 3. Earlier in the vid he says he knows about DM 3.
I know there was some question about that earlier of the Robin King in Legends is different then Robin King in DM3.

He says it’s the same Robin King as legends he doesn’t say the Robgoblin is Robin King. I was hoping he would clear that up better.

I think the most important thing is the same Robin King in Legends and DM3 (and assuming going forward As well) as that confirms Legends as first full. Which I think most of us on this spec page care about most.
The only way Robogoblin Vs Robin King would factor in the debate is if you think DM 2 can take over for Legends. And I don’t think in either scenario it does.
The only reason we care if the Robgoblin is the one who becomes Robin King is it puts the Robgoblin 1st appearances into play too. If it’s not Robgoblin and just a new Evil Bruce Wayne named Robin King then those Robgoblin books don’t matter to this equation.

Looks like Metal #3 Robin King cover doing real well too riding Legends wave. May be under ordered because of the cover change. So you all that bought those are going to get paid too. Maybe I should of kept 20 instead of going down to 5.
Comic Christmas this last few weeks. DC and Marvel keep trying to one up each other with new 1st appearances.

The same “Robin” appears in DM2, Legends and DM3…I cant believe you guys are still debating this.

Lil Bruce Wayne is a wannabe Robin. He becomes Robin King and takes over the role that BWL had. He controls the robins. Its all very simple to understand.
