It’s a first full in legends according to the guy that spoiled it with the book in hand he only showed one picture but said he is in many panels.
This is what I seen. Do you know who the Robin King is and what he’s done? SICK!
He’s Bruce Wayne as a boy and kills his parents attacker and his parents, then microwaves kitties, kills Jim Gordon, and kills Alfred.

Shouldn’t he be called king Robin, I mean, it’s not his name is it, his name is not Robin king? So he should be called King Robin.
It may work if his name was Tom.
I finally watched Bill’s (Econ in Comics) video linked above which is the source of all of this yesterday.
If you don’t like spoilers, please stop reading. And sorry it’s a long one.
In his origin story in Legends it ends with young Bruce Wayne sitting on the throne in the Robin King clothes calling himself the Robin King. Bill believes Darkest Knight in DM 2, wouldn’t likely be asking him to become his Robin King since he already was Robin King in the origin, so Bill believes that the goblin in DM 2 is a different goblin and whispers to Darkest Knight that there already is a Robin King so they go get him (Presumably in DM 3).
Even for comics that would be a pretty odd intro to offer goblin 4 the job, and have him say no there already is one, and then just introduce another. I do agree that it would be odd for Darkest Knight to ask him to be Robin King in DM 2 If he already was the character. Unless is a more literal question, I know you are Robin King, but will you be MY Robin King (and lead my army).
I don’t think, if Bill’s theory is correct, that Snyder would’ve said Robin King is born in DM 2, if he wasn’t in it at all. Previously a few weeks ago Snyder has said Robin King was introduced in DM 2. I could be wrong though. Both are Snyder books. It’s not like BWL where Snyder promoted Metal over Titans, because Titans wasn’t his book. DM and Legends are both Snyder books.
Another possibility is DM 2 takes place timeline wise in the middle of Legends where the image Alana posted above is after Darkest Knight asks him.
I don’t know. It’s an odd one. I guess we will all find out on 8/4, or when Anthony/Poyo post the detailed spoilers a few days earlier.
Bill does state that he’s only seen pictures, not the whole book, so he’s piecing together what he can from what he’s seen. We could be missing a big piece of the puzzle.
I just hope they don’t go the multiple Robin Kings route. People have noted the difference in Robin King’s appearance on the covers of Legends 1:25 and DM 3 Federicci, but I’m attributing that more to artistic interpretation.

Yeah, DM2 where Robin King is coined by BWL but yet if Legends is an origin story, then that means there’s certainly more than one or one prior to the one about to be crowned… IDK… you guys make my head hurt. The only reason we have Robin around is so DC can kill him… cause DC loves killing Robin.

We have to remember, the creators don’t care about the miniscule details like comic book nerds go far and beyond with… Snyder said what we already know, that the Robin in that issue is his own Robin King that likely accepts the role offered… so in DM3 the story continues…

First app jason todd as robin king vs 1st app bruce wayne as robin king. Its a title and whoever is shown first will be the winner. Further in Snyders interview he seems to be writing the dialogue of robin king like he is batman. With the “bag if many tricks” for killing superheroes.
Based on the dialogue it makes the most sense for “robin king” to be whispering about being robin king and what he has done which is in the Legends book. It would be weird for robin to be talking about another robin when he is asked “Tell me your story child”. His crown is more than likely hidden and in the basket marked “C” where we see Lobo uncovering some brush. The crown he is wearing in the leaked image looks like the crown on the cover of DNDM:Robin King and DNDM #3. Of course, things can take a weird turn from what is logical, but I’m going with what is logical.
That all works…except he already calls himself Robin King (and has a crown albeit a different one). Would you offer a guy a title he already calls himself?

It’s a fair theory. Maybe Bruce RK is dead so Todd RK is being offered the job in DM 2.
I’m not sure I agree with whoever is shown first is the winner. It’s the first app of whichever (if either) becomes relevant. There are instances where the second person to take a role is more important then the original.
I agree. For speculation purposes especially. They do a Blue Beetle movie featuring the newer guy that’s the first appearance that will be in demand while the other older one will see some uptick

I have at least 2 copies of DM Legends reserved at one LCS and waiting to hear back from another on more copies. Ordered 24 copies from Unknown and 10 from tfaw but I don’t have much hope those will be fulfilled because I believe they are error listings. You can still order as of right now, so I’m sure they’ve gotten hundreds of orders since Bills video yesterday. So basically, only 2 copies as of now and I’m not even sure I want more after reading all the theories of two Robin Kings here… my head is spinning. It really sounds like Snyder is messing with us and the speculators will end up getting played while he and the comic book shops will be holding the bags of cash.
As for the other books, I have 9 copies of DM2, and reserved 2 copies of DM3 Fed but that seems to be 1 more than I need given the new info on DM Legends.
I really don’t know what to do…

With the info we have, Legends is “probably” the book. But as always with comics you never know.

He just has a different-looking crown on one cover which is probably artistic interpretation. The other covers show a crown that looks like the leaked picture. In my opinion Crow (I don’t know his name) didn’t consider himself the Robin King any longer which is why he had his crown stashed somewhere. He was offered the title after he whispered his story and Darkest Knight needed a number 2. Naming him something different would actually make less sense without some extra dialogue.

True. He’s offered the title after the whisper.
Which would then eliminate Bill’s two Robin Kings theory and make this a little cleaner.
Here is whats gonna happen in issue 3. Those two are going to go find bruce the current robin king and bwl is gonna let them fight it out. When bruce wins bwl will offer him to be right hand man. This puts legends as the book to have
