CONVENTION EXCLUSIVE FIGURES AND MERCH

As much as I love this, I have the originals in working order.

The originals may even be obtainable for less than what these cost. Wouldn’t playing/displaying originals be more nostalgic/fun?

This is sort of akin to paying more to acquire a modern facsimile edition foil than it costs to acquire the original comic.

I hope everyone who is going has fun!

I’m going for the second time but definitely feel underwhelmed by the exclusives this year. I like the Alex Ross re-do of Superman 1 but not seen much else. Anyone see anything good?

I feel the exact same way. Everything looks like it’s reprints, foils, or something but the same art. the panel comics should be good though.

I also like that book. Supposed to be golden age size.

The CGC exclusive will be hot. The Todd McFarlane exclusive (Spawn 365) will be fire.

I’d been going for many years straight.
Flying from NY to S.D.
I payed for much of the trip (sometimes all of it) via the exclusives which were a breeze to obtain on Preview Night - I’d move from one booth to another with ease on Preview night.
Then came the hoardes realizing the same thing I just stated and I could no longer clean up on exclusives to fund trips. .
Then I got covid there.
Just not worth it anymore to me with not profiting and high likelihood of con crud/illness

Gonna miss the Resident Alien cast signing at the Dark Horse booth. My fav show.

I do wonder what the Kirkman exclusives are for his panel. The wording is that there will be multiple for each attendee.

Love that show as well… Alan Tudyk is awesome. I also saw (and met) Alice Wetterlund (D’arcy) comedy standup when she came into town about a year or so ago, I thought she was great.

Maybe he’s going to announce a whole new reprinting of Walking Dead. First it was in black and white, now it’s colorized… but now… just wait… All foil covers and 3D interiors… at the whopping low low cover price of $9.99 per issue, all starting over from issue #1…

That would not surprise me one bit…

Liefeld has Giant-Size Youngblood exclusive to SDCC (for now) that I am excited for!

Also hoping to score a McFarlane Toys Beast Boy SDCC exclusive but that is a lottery. He will go well with my Nightwing, Starfire, and Cyborg.

Somebody thinks they’re scoring copies…

Looks cool but there is 20 dollar tariff surcharge added when you add it to your cart. Also not certain how many of these are being produced. Im assuming they are allowing pre orders through the days of sdcc.

yo, this is disgusting
