Extremis from Iron Man 3…… interesting that Super Skrull is going to be a hodge podge of MCU stuff since there is no Fantastic Four to go the traditional way. Still, the episode three snooze fest is making me come very close to just watch the last episode and skipping more blatant and predictable plot build up at a snail’s pace. You can just see in each episode the writers’ rough draft. “Ok, here’s what we need to explain in this episode leading up to the conclusion.” The MCU movie stuff (prior to Phase 4) is a lot better written overall than the shows. The shows are like a plot progression being forced out episode by episode in obvious fashion.
PS… did anyone notice Ali Selim in the beginning credits? Any time I see Selim I see Miles spelled backwards, lol. Always looking for the next Miles….

I just thought about it but can’t remember the Skrull computer screen for the fourth element:
Extremis = human torch
Cull Obsidian = thing
Groot = Mr Fantastic
can’t remember this one to see if = invis woman
Reminds me of the old He-man movie with Dolph Lundgren. Trap jaw, Tri clops, and Merman were sort of there, just represented with Commander Fugly (I’m too tired to remember the ugly guy’s name), Blade, and the lizard guy who died early on.

I really enjoyed the episode. It’s keeping me guessing who’s on whose side and who’s a skrull and who’s human. Which is basically the whole premise.
Was that Rhodes voice on the phone at the end…? Or a skrull impersonating him? Or has he always been a skrull going back to the iron man movies? Seemed to enjoy firing Fury last episode…more than you’d think the character would…
Is this the end for Emily Clarke? Or is another twist in store?
I enjoy seeing this different side of the MCU. I also know very little about the secret invasion comics so I’m enjoying the crazy train of a rode.
We know Gi’ah and Maria Hill arent dead…

How do you figure? Far as I know Fury is the only one seen appearing in future films.

Could be her dad or anyone else impersonating her. Or maybe she somehow snuck in and gave herself a jolt of the super skrull maker. Or she was smart enough to wear a bullet proof vest…always isn’t smart to leave the body without confirming.
Anything is possible. That’s why I like this show.
But I’m pretty sure Hill is dead. The show wanted to make a statement early this is a story about Nick Fury and had to make this personal for him.

Gi’ah could be alive. I don’t know. What side of the body are Skrull hearts on? Maybe the shot wasn’t fatal and she just played dead?

You would have figured Gravik to know that!
Nobody stays dead in comics or comic movies/shows I suppose.
This show is also all about flashbacks, so there could be scenes she is in that are plastic events.
But the fact Gravik walked away from her body without verifying or removing it (villain classic mistake) pretty much sets up for her to return.

i’m finally enjoying sam jackson as nick fury, and mendelsohn is always amazing, but the way this show has escalated the violence in the mcu is very disappointing. it’s so lazy, unoriginal, and, for me personally, disturbing (far too much entertainment glorifies revenge). gun-based action is just so boring and uninteresting. disney+ is not where i expect to see shows featuring graphic torture scenes and at least 3 executions in the first 3 episodes.

I freaking busted out laughing. These two guys (Mendelsohn and Jackson) are A1 actors and it shows with their delivery.
