I recently read the Secret Invasion trade. It was essentially 8-9 books of great art, constant fight scenes, way too many characters, and nearly no story/plot. I got to the end and wasn’t sure anything actually happened.
Plot recap: aliens have secretly invaded! Who’s who?! Let’s fight! We won!
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like for every good comic story, there are 20 really bad ones. Also just wrapped Saga of the Swamp Thing vol 1, and that is fantastic.
