All last school year weād get āCovid callsā around 4pm informing us of the days Covid cases in the schools (3 elementary schools, 1 MS and 1 HS in my town). From November through February almost every day a phone call. Many time multiple cases.
My daughter (9) never had to quarantine. My son (7)!had to twice, practically back to backā¦after the school shut down for 2 weeks they decided to bring the kids back for just a half day before April vacationā¦exposed again in that half day.
The good news is primarily because of masking no cases due to close contact in the schools occurred. Everything was from outside the schools.
Seems like It should be investigated whether mandatory quarantines for close contacts is necessary where schools require masking indoors.
But yeah, Shang-Chiā¦woo hoo!
