Should I order comic books on Unknown comics' website?

And there lies the problem I think. FB is for social media, not for dealing with customer service inquiries as a tool or utility. Not everyone has or uses Facebook.

That’s a fact!! I had to download it to send then a msg

I’ve never had FB in my lifetime, and never plan on it either.

I had it long ago. Wife said I should join (I think mostly just to tag me in bullshit posts). I joined, bunch of old friends (who weren’t really friends any more) all added me. I never tried to post personal info but I soon realized that Facebook was just a huge cesspool on the internet with a bunch of narcissists.

So a few years back I finally just deactivated my account and then deleted it about a month after that. I think my life expectancy also went back up after getting rid of it in my life. I think most everyone should get rid of Facebook. It’s just a way for them to target you and sell your information… Facebook knows you better than you know yourself.

I once had a recruiter from Facebook send me job opportunities almost every other day for about a week or two straight. I finally had to reply and tell them, I hate Facebook, why would I want to work for them? Never heard back again…

I use Facebook messenger to ask the comic shops I frequent to hold or look for books for me. Other than that, not much interest. People will Be talking to me every so often about something and I’ll be like “what the hell are you talking about?” And then they say “didn’t you see so and so’s post?” And thats when I remind them just because I have an account, doesn’t mean I’m checking up with it…

I might look once or twice a week…usually because of a conversation like the one above where someone tells me to go check out what someone posted…

I like using Facebook to sell stuff in comic-book groups sometimes. Good for finding stuff now-and-then too.

Noticed that Unknowncomics has decreased the foc books discount releasing in October to 25%. Has anyone noticed a decrease discount at other stores perhaps due to Marvel move to Penguin and DC move to Lunar?

I have ordered from unknown 5 times and every order has come perfect. Positive are free shipping on orders over $100 ( priority mail), free bags and boards and no tax. this alone saves me about 20% and unknowns packing is better than anyone in the industry. books are also high quality. Negatives, they wait until every book is available before they send them out.

All of my experiences with unknown have been positive so far.

I ordered from them and everything was damaged. I told them this and they blamed the postal service and did NOTHING about refunds/replacements. will NEVER use again.
