Unless there’s some type of proof or a COA (from a store that has proof there was an actual signing with the creator there, etc), yes, don’t ever buy autographed books that come without any type of proof.
In truth, i do purchase autographed books. But generally not from the “big boys”. Stan, Todd, celebs, the soup du jour hot artist, etc…
But i DO purchase from artists that have very little added value with their autograph regardless of coa or other evidence AND i feel confident with my observations.
There just no monetary incentive for scammers to bother with a (not to pick on him) a scott hanna for instance
