I guess if anyone should have the rights, Marvel is the best place for it. As long as they aren’t putting his blood into the ink to sign the contract.
Considering how some people were utter vultures towards Stan when he was nearing the end of his life I guess Marvel is a safer place to have the rights to his likeness than some other companies? I mean, this is totally something Stan would do and love as the ultimate showman. Still odd though.

It is a little disturbing for sure but just how the entertainment industry is heading when stars and money makers die. When I was a kid I remember some sort of tech type segment on an entertainment show way back in the 80’s taking about how we would see full, new, movies with actors that have been long dead when computer technology gets advanced enough. Struck me as very interesting back then so I would always think back to it every time computer graphics and now AI took a leap ahead. Anyway, forty years or so later, here we are.

This is the tech equivalent of attaching strings to his corpse and making him dance like a puppet. Weirdly enough, the real Stan Lee would probably go for that as he never met a gimmick he disliked.
