The original makes no sense. The Emperor would not be able to see the Death Star like that from his throne room.
I’m finally caught up on the two issues of Crimson Reign and already enjoying it more than the whole of War of the Bounty Hunters.
Yeah War of the Bounty Hunters took way too many issues to auction off one lot. Crimson Dawn should have called Sotheby’s.
These events usually start with a pretty good story premise. But after all the ‘let’s cross into all the titles’ and ‘let’s get this and that character in’, pretty soon it’s all hat and no cattle.
I generally try to stick to the main series only. But I read all of the star wars books, and a lot of those “crossovers” added nothing to the story. I would have been mad if I wasnt already buying them anyway.
I just read the solicitation for DV #22…with Sabe coming back into the picture, I’m very intrigued about what the big reveal is.

Marinda, a Knight of Ren. First cameo in WOBH 5, first full in Crimson Reign 1:
I initially thought the seated knight on cover 2 was Marinda, but I don’t think so anymore.
Slightly off topic, but do we ever find out how Ochi dies in the desert on Pasaana? I haven’t read any of the comics set in the resistance era, so not sure if we see him perish or if we are to just believe he got trapped in some sinking sand and died a lame “death” like Boba Fett.
He died in that tunnel guarded by the big snake. I’m assuming starvation or dehydration.
