No discussion on the reveal of this series? @drunkwooky
I used to think it may be the kids from Galaxy of Fear, but I’m less bullish on that now.
10-year-old kids from “a small planet.” Nobody would call Alderaan a small planet politically or otherwise. I don’t think we’ll get many existing characters from former comics and other media here. It also doesn’t sound like Luke’s Jedi Academy either.
What you think about Hera and Kanan’s son Jacen and friends? Time fits. Lothal - small planet outer rim. No comic appearance to my knowledge so no fun getting to search for that.
Star Wars #7 (1977) has seen some movement…but nothing exciting.
I need to watch these. Haven’t had time yet.
What is the significance of issue 7 in relation to the show?
1st crimson jack, jude law character
For the record, the only similarities are they are both pirates. The comic character was not force sensitive.
im not sure if its legit or some kind of trick at this point
He’s got a lot of names…as many con artists do. So we’ll see. I think they’re just using the name as an homage back to the comic character. Nothing more…although Crimson Jack appears in Halecron Legacy comics…which are supposed to be cannon… that has many thinking it’s a stolen identity.
It is a kid show. For me it doesn’t have that “StarWars” feel to it but for the right age group it may draw them in. Not awful.
Let’s just say it’s no Andor. But it’s not supposed to be.
Goonies in Space….
Even the kids reflect goonies characters. You got Mouth (older girl), Data (the tech girl), Chunk (Elephant looking boy) and Mikey (The adventurous kid).
And the Fratellis are all the pirates chasing them.
A little too on the nose, but it is a show for kids. I think if a kid likes sci-fi and is 10 to thirteen/fourteen, they will probably like it. I think I would have loved a show like this one when I was a kid.
Id say its a family show. Kid friendly for sure, but the sub plots are directed at a more mature audience. Im really enjoing the show so far, and ive been recommending it to other geeky friends
Yeah, I’m enjoying the heck out of it and really like how they are weaving in the Old Republic without requiring the audience to get any references. We are learning as the characters learn. Great acting so far, too.
I enjoyed the third episode. The show is definitely aimed at a younger audience but after the first episode, the show has seemed to gear itself to both adults and kids more evenly. Looking forward to the next episode this week.
