LoL I felt good seeing the fiasco this evening. Book went from 600 print run to 400 with the remaining 200 for friends family giveaways and damages⊠why wouldnât you just take from the 2400 since your âdestroyingâ those anyway? LoL I wanted to bust there balls and @wantedcomix as well for the shit show they call business and theyâre shitty âgoldâ plan on wordpress but I was playing hide and go seek in the dark with the kids which gave me a better laugh.

You know one REALLY easy way to make sure more people get the variant? Donât destroy 2,400 copies of the trade and 400 copies of the virgin.

Them back, seems like a huge pain in the ass on their end. Iâd much rather sell all 3,000/1,000 at once than have them sitting around in my warehouse (read: garage) for months or years on end. Destroying thousands of comics also seems like a huge pain in the ass regardless of how you go about it. Who has the time of day? Every time
I cut a cover Iâd just be thinking âwhy didnât I just sell this to somebody who wanted it?â

I had no interest in the second variant. The Heir to the Empire homage didnât really do much for me. Whereas the first homage was master and padawan gazing out at space in both, the second didnât really fit at all. Drengir as the villain, sure, but Keeve as Luke? Starlight Beacon as Coruscant? The parallels simply werenât there. Maybe Iâm thinking about it too much, but it didnât quite do it for me. Also, maybe Iâm salty about Heir to the Empire being considered âkeyâ. Itâs like the New Mutants 98 of Star Wars. Sure itâs Thrawnâs first appearance, but has anybody read the damn thing? Pretty rough getting through it. Read the book instead.

Seems like a large number of stores stocked them late Friday night or early Saturday morning, I hit stores on Friday evening and Saturday morning/afternoon and i found them saturday.
At least the 4 stores around me.
Iâll check tomorrow and if theyâre not there Iâll assume somebody else got them already.
