Disney is really pushing this High Republic. I always love books and general products that bring in all fans. Iām in the 501st (biker scout) and there is a ton of chatter on this. Disney is doing a livestream about it the day before comics hit. Iāve seen tons of posts relative to it. Again, not even talk about the comics necessarily, just on the entire rollout. Already plenty of folks looking at character design for costume standards and such.

They donāt normally list store variants on their hot 10 unless itās going nuclear, from what Iāve seen (like those Jon Boy Venom variants a while back). So if it does then you know, especially with this book with no first cover, itās pumping.
First time ordering from westfield, I just ordered a bunch of star wars high republic for 99 cent.

You must have ordered a bunch! I had 10 in my cart from last night ready to order today, just refreshed, and now they are normal price. Damn!
Did you order pre-FOC? I havenāt ordered a lot from them, but the only order they canceled was one I ordered the day after FOCā¦which was weird because the book was still in stock at Diamond and wasnāt discounted.
So they may cancel orders placed after FOC. But mine they did immediately.
Once I ordered 20 copies of Thor #6 for 99 cents eaā¦and got all 20ā¦all but one in NM+ shape, they may not bag and board them thoughā¦might package them together in a bundle, but shipped in a box.
But this is a large quantity book so unless thereās some allocation from Diamond I think youāre good.

I ordered 80 copies at $.99 a few days ago. Not counting on getting them since it was after FOC
Yea, nobody is getting a brand new comic, coming out in January, for 99 cents. Thats waaaaaaaaaaaay less than what retailers pay.
Not true. Westfield does post up new comics for 99Ā¢ at times, seems to be random which they do though.
Agreed. Iāve purchased post-FOC pre-orders for their 99 centers before, and I got all the books I ordered. They donāt bag/board them, but put them all in a bigger bag. All books arrived in great condition, and shipping was super fast.
I have been using Westfield for a few months now for preorders since I got sick of getting shafted by Midtown. I moved my subscriptions to TFAW and split my preorders between the two. Very happy with both. I was worried about the no bag and board thing with Westfield, but after several large orders filled all books have been perfect! And yes, Iāve preordered many $.99 comics from them. Just last week they had the next issue of SIKTC up for a buck as well as the last three issues. They put large discounts on good books, not just garbage they canāt move.
.99$ sales are generally because they are chasing the incentives. I have done that a few times with covers i think will be hot or for something i want for my PC.

Probably just priced the wrong thing 99 cents. Or they saw it selling fast still and someone got in trouble for pulling the trigger on a 99 cent clearout too early.
