Nope
Cover A it is.
oh damn. that’s ugly.
Anybody know definitively if this is Cover A or Cover B for Star Wars Adventures 7?
Half the places I checked say it’s cover A and half say cover B. I assume Previews World would have it right? Or do they eff up? They are saying its cover B
It says B on the cover.
The 1:10 is always the A and it’s the other cover.
Cover B. According to previews
I wouldn’t go A or B, I would go by Artist listed. I’ve seen this as both A and B at multiple stores. This cover is by Brokenshire.
A dead giveaway. Thanks.
And that’s the game.
B - Brokenshire. Not Francavilla.
I’m diggin these action figure variants
This just might be me - but I feel like introducing a baddie with a lightsaber like Darth Krall might be a move with tv/movie in mind. IMO The Drengir would be a bit boring and all CG - whereas we know lightsaber duels are often the best action parts of the movie. Issue #7 could become a key book. Thoughts?
Acolyte is set during the High Republic period and it has to be about something.
Darth Krall is part of the Lost Twenty who left the Jedi Order. So far, that story has been alluded to but not told. The Acolyte show has to be about something. This is as good a bet as any.
Reading the press releases again, “female led” seems to be a consistent. I could see Marvel going with some serious female baddies. @drunkwooky - are there existing characters that fit this mould in the 20 or elsewhere in the era? Anyone already have a first in comics?
Lady Shaa, the first female sith made her 1st appearance in Darth Vader #22
Yeah, that book was wiped from back issue bins a few weeks ago likely.
I knew where some beat up copies were, but they’re gone now.
Keeve Trennis herself left the Jedi order and became part of the Lost. High Republic #1 (her first appearance) all day every day. She’s the most obvious choice. There are a bunch of women in High republic though. Avar Kriss made a cameo in Rise of Kylo Ren 3 (unnamed in hologram) and first full and cover in High Republic 1. Orla Jareni is questioning the order a little bit in Claudia Gray’s novel. She supposedly first appears in High Republic 7 along with Krall. Looks like her first cover is going to be 8 unless we get sneaky #7 store exclusives this weekend/week.
Vernestra Rwoh, who seems like a little bit of a teacher’s pet, may be the “acolyte” she first appears in issue 2 in what some might call a cameo. She makes larger appearances in 4 and 5.
That all hasn’t really even touched on the Padawan over in High Republic Adventures.
Curious how Marvel and other publishers assign covers to artists. Mayhew had the 1st cover of Marchion Ro also. Is it a matter of knowing the right people? I believe he had a Stellan Gios cover as well, that wasn’t technically Stellan’s first cover but it featured him much more prominently than his first cover, where he was just in the background.
