It is not, lol. I stumbled across this about a month ago.
Lots of High Republic Adventures #6 books sold yesterdayā¦
Multiple sales of $15-20 now!
It was a sneaky release. We all knew about Deva Lompop in Jabba the Hutt last month. High Republic 7 next week has been hyped as two first appearances since the beginning of July. We only found out about Leox Gyasi, Affie Hollow, and Geode in HRA6 last week. Sneaky sneaky.
My shop had the 1:10 for a fair price but everyone had noticeable spine ticks so I passed.
I should have bought a few more copies than I did, but Iām always happy to just have one and with these Star Wars books I always make sure of that at a minimum.
Iāll check another shop today for one more copy. I donāt think that the general masses are yet aware of this book or that it has risen sharply in price online since yesterday.
Last sale $17 on eBay. Iām all out and I had about 40 of them (save my personal copies). Wish I would have bought more!
I ordered 3 of the incentives packages from you but still picked up one from the lcs. Glad to see the adventures finally get some heat.
Iām curious why HRA 6 cover A seems to be in higher demand than the RI?
Easier to obtain? Characters on cover?
There are a couple of 1:10s that stand out as cheaper than cover A, Dept of Truth being one. When A was revealed a number of people posted A was the better cover.
Cover A selling for close to the 1 in 10 is a temporary scenario. This book appears to be very low print.
Cover A was a $4 book 24 hours ago. A 1 in 10 hasnāt sold via auction since the spike. There are some 1 in 10 auctions ending soon. My guess is theyāll be expensive.
Looks like the pilot of The Vessel, Leox Gyasi, is making his first cover appearance on cover A to Star Wars High Republic Adventures #7!
Final order cut off this Monday 7/26/21
I was able to get the SWA #6 1:10 for $10 and 3 of cover A.
So many keys and major issues - my OCD feels like ranking things. Itās an asinine, but so many drops i canāt help it
There have been a seemingly crazy amount of key books already in the two (and now 3 with the monster mini series) HR series
What are going to be the long term winners, in order of most important comic - your top 5?
- we obviously donāt know who will appear on-screen. But who cares. Letās do this!
1- HR 1 - maybe too obvious and maybe a large print run - but a decent bet As the winner
2- HRA 2 - seems a bit slept on and maybe a low print run? Marchion Ro looks like like he could be a good on-screen baddie. Maybe a stretch at the 2 slot.
3 - HR6 - low run and lots of firsts
4 - Iām partial to anti heroās and monster hunters. So the #1 mini series
5 - maybe HRA #1? Or HR7?
you forgot the new bounty hunter from jabba #1, she is very old, from high republic days and is coming to that series soon
youāre really pushing that book, arent ya ?
Like the 3rd time youāve mentioned it todayā¦
he asked the question on books of importance to HR series and named most of them already. i talked about it on one other thread and im not the one to start the convo either time
I would add also Rise of Kylo Ren #3 - first cameo app of Avar Kriss, and came out during the ramp up of covid - think this one is a mega sleeper, will be big when HR starts hitting screens. Also a believer in Marchion Roās first apps (HRA1+2), supposed to be as big a villian as Darth Vader and Kylo Ren.
That is interesting, it will be cool if she appears in both timelines. Could eventually be one of those constants that we see. The only ones we see through time so far are the bots and because they canāt age, and clones.
