It really is. Not a damn key occurrence in #2 as far as the eye can see. Meanwhile a handful of first appearances in #1.

They know what they’re doing. People love con exclusives. Doing a exclusive for #2 still boosts sales… remember, they’re in this to sell as many copies as they can. It doesn’t turn into a “collectible” unless we nerds make it so…

ebay still has a few for cover or less than cover, but the problem is nobody has more than 2 or 3 copies, so you are gonna get murdered on shipping costs. I wish I had more, but I missed the boat, and I found an ebay seller who had quite a few and I snagged them all from him.
