Star Wars: The High Republic

One thing I will go on record saying right now is don’t forget about IDW’s High Republic Adventures. Issue #1 has final order cut off on 1/11/2020, comes out 2/3/2020.

The solicit mentions two padawans, “Zeen” and “Krix”, neither of which have been mentioned in the solicits or previews for Marvel’s High Republic #1 or #2. Remember that Hondo Ohnaka’s first appearance is in IDW’s Star Wars Adventures #7.

IDW joins The High Republic with all-ages adventures tying into the larger High Republic story! Flaming destruction is coming to Trymant IV! A remnant of the Hyperspace Disaster appears in the sky, and Zeen and her best friend Krix have only minutes to get to the Elders of the Path and find safety! Meanwhile, Master Yoda, Master Baro, and a group of Padawans are racing towards the disaster for a daring rescue mission.

No problem. It’s not even one of those background obscured hologram cameo nonsense appearances either. It’s about a half dozen pages and he’s a major player in one of the two stories.

The kicker to Star Adventures 16 is that it has a B cover with Embo actually on it. Book is a bit of a ghost though. Series had a low print run to begin with…and then that number split between covers. I’ve had searches on it for awhile with no luck. It’s funny as I just picked up the A cover in the wild yesterday…first I’ve ever seen at a shop.

I literally just found Star Wars Adventures #16 cover B today for $4.50 at my LCS! Looking on Comichron, it says there was a 10k print run. How can you find out the print run of cover B?
