Star Wars: War of the Bounty Hunters Pre-Orders

I know we’re sick of these, but I’m just here to socialize and inform:

Neal Adam’s from

One of these stores should have done something besides Boba Fett to stand out. 25 different Boba Fett covers.

Do you think there was a directive from Disney/Lucasfilm?

Maybe every store wanted Fett since he so popular. But now most of them dont stand out. Maybe it wont matter and they will all sell out anyway.

Well, as I’ve stated before, I’m a huge Gist fan and he came through. Granted, it is just another “Fett” cover, but it’s striking and clean simple. I’m partial to him I suppose, but I do feel this was the best of the bunch given that there can only be so much variation in what an artist can do.

That got commoditized quickly huh?

I’ve collected Star Wars art and prints for longer than I’ve collected comics. At this point, it really takes something special for me to buy in. There are only so many ways you can present the characters. I have a couple of favorite artists I tend to buy routinely simply because they have created a unique perspective on their art as it relates to Star Wars.

That one Is nice as hell. I’d want to buy it… only to resell it for more.

My question is how they got the 800 print run. They must have another variant at 3,000 right?

marvel has strict rules on print runs for stores 3k 1st cover 1k each additional

Yeah, so my question is where is the first cover printed at 3,000 copies? Or is it just this cover and they’re destroing 2200?

They sort of word it like they got a trade dress and virgin though… just really sloppy wording… but who knows. Anyone actually ask them?

I didn’t actually figure out how they got the print run, but I did find out that you can blow more money if you’re interested:

plus a Remark version (limited edition of 10 with “full painted remark where Boba Fett will be recolored in various costumes such as The Mandalorian, new Black Armor, Jango Fett, etc.” @ $499.95).
