Super Bowl Predictions/commercial Thread

As you can see, I contain many layers. Like an onion–which give me headaches so I don’t eat them, funny enough.

Oh man, can’t wait. If you haven’t read the book yet, go read it before the movie. Looks like they’re sticking mostly to the book just like they did with the Martian which is one of my favorite all time movies and books.

That game went exactly as I thought it would. Not surprised at all. Seattle’s D just rolled over them. As a Jets fan, it’s kinda tough to see a Jets first round draft pick (Sam Darnold) win the big one…but being he beat New England I’ll let it slide. He’s been on quite the journey so actually good to see him come into his own in the league…as long as he stays in the NFC.

I was quite sure Seattle would win based upon the tiny bit of projections I saw. It did indeed go that way.

Almost none of the commercials really stuck out to me beyond a vaguely funny one for Liquid Death energy drinks and a Dunkin ad that riffed on old sitcoms.

The halftime show was fun. I won’t pretend to understand what was said with my single semester in college of Spanish, but it had a fun vibe like a big party. Better than when Rhianna walked around for 15 minutes on floating platforms a few years ago

I thought it was one of the most boring superbowls… The commercials were all weird AI things. I do not really care for bad bunny, not my style, so I skipped the half time show to go through the additional comics I got yesterday and eat more. I think the best commercial was the prostate exam one. it was funny.

Did that ad for Rings dog search feature really say they used 10 million cameras to find 365 total lost pets? That’s kinda bad numbers.

I want to go back to the not future

I love defensive games where every play is an utter and complete struggle for yards.
Both teams slinging balls is not my thing; (nor is a 3 pt barrage in basketball, for example)

It was great (I liked all the messages within it about PR), it’s the only reason I tuned in to watch that. I saw some commercials and they just seemed weird… As for watching Football, it’s always been a snoozer for me. Finding a football game on TV helps me take naps… Never gotten into football.

And I’m starting to understand since I’ve been learning Espanol lately… but have taken a break from it to start learning Portuguese now… planning a Portugal trip potentially.

The game was pretty boring from start to finish. Seattle’s defense was crazy good.

I really liked the halftime show. I know ZIP about Bad Bunny, but despite the language barrier, I thought they really did a fantastic job with the music coupled with the storytelling. The superbowl halftime show is no longer a glorified concert. Hasn’t been for a while. It’s more of a live music video now. But, I thought this one was far better than the recent Justin Timberlake and Rihanna superbowl shows.

And, my $50 in bets netted me a whopping $18 in profit.

Super Bowl game was great but only because I was going for the Seahawks (I’m a Steelers fan).

Completely ignored the half time show.

Won $140 in squares ($25 buy-in).

Only had 3 beers and woke up hangover free for work. This was a win folks!

That’s “The Past” for those of you in Rio Linda.

Glad to see Sam Darnold win in the biggest game, even though I loathe the Seahawks. Vikings were dumb to let him go after he helped them to a winning season last year, and he deserved better than the Jets.

I also didn’t watch a single snap, it was family day at my house but I checked in on the score here and there.

My dad is a Jets fan. Every year he thinks could be their year. Poor delusional man.

They’re never bad enough at the right time to draft a franchise QB.

Ken O’Brien may have been their last solid QB pick in the draft. That was 1983 with John Elway, Jim Kelly and Dan Marino…and they drafted Ken ahead of Dan…

I also wonder if they are just always so dysfunctional that they wreck QBs. Sam Darnold being a pretty good example. Would Zach Wilson be a star if he was drafted elsewhere?

Let me start out with I don’t condone illegally entering onto the field of sporting events to gain attention or for any reason.

That being said, this guy does have an interesting back story…essentially “buy low sell high” on steroids.

He also looks like he may have taken a few roids as well…

What’s most astonishing is that he has done this before, and somehow was able to do it again! You’d think the NFL would have banned him for life to any event…but I guess when you
Have that much money you can find a way.

I have a feeling we’ll be seeing him again…
