TEACUP-new series on Peacock in October

Not sure if anyone has seen the trailer for this or not. I might have just sort of skipped over it and not given it much thought other than it looks a bit intriguing and I like horror stuff/series.

I noticed however that this series/story is actually based on a novel called “Stinger” by Robert R McCammon. I believe it came out in around 1988. Fantastic novel. McCammon is actually in my top 5 all time horror writers and he put out of string of horror books in the 80’s that were just incredible. He also had some really good short stories. One of them was adapted into a segment for the Twilight Zone TV show (the revamp) called “Nightcrawlers”. It was really good as well.

Anyway…if the series even comes close to doing the book any justice…it should be really good.

Series created by Ian McCulloch, wonder if it’s the same guy who was the singer of Echo and the Bunnymen
