Backorders, no idea. They don’t really say. I have to imagine they aren’t going to be processed anymore.
But if it releases after April 9, it’s no longer coming. You can order anything in stock (or coming out April 9) until April 21, and then orders are closed forever.
First question, I believe is “yes. Anything with an on sale date after 4/9 look elsewhere.”
The closest thing I know of to TFAW (who offers just about every book and you can ship monthly, bi-weekly, etc) is My Comic Shop. Although you have to pay for the books upfront (TFAW wouldn’t charge until it shipped). I think MCS discounts are slightly better. Books are well packaged. I’ve already made the switch…probably like many others have and that’s why TFAW is bowing out.
Midtown also will ship monthly and offer decent discounts, but I think they close FOC much sooner than most places.

Yeah, I’m with you on this one. I don’t want to use Midtown but I don’t know of any solid alternatives.
Yeah…I did all that jibber jabbering about buying those blind bags…guess I won’t be opening too many after all lol.
The bulk of them were all via TFAW…so much for that.

The site will be switching over to Third Eye Comics. We will be linking out to them and Mycomicshop in the future. It was pretty well known that I drove a lot of sales to TFAW and now other online retailers are reaching out to me about filling the void. I won’t drop names but some bigger shops (not midtown)

Last year alone we sent over $140,000 worth of sales to TFAW. That is pretty good sales for a store to generate. We were TFAW’s largest single affiliate (google of course was their largest affiliate account)
And they didn’t even procure our Pop Kill! Primal scream imminent…

I cant imagine the physical stores can handle that many books. It seems like a terrible idea to not fulfill orders through the end of April.
Whats TFAW gonna do, turn UPS/FEDEX away ? Call PRH and Lunar…???.. "Hey, can we cancel the 10k March orders ? "…lol

@monopolyjackson They are letting people get rid off their pre-orders as well, which is goin to leave them stuck with even more product. Seems like a bad business decision overall.
Yea… my entire TFAW just “opened up” from locked in pre-orders to now every comic being unlocked.
