… and now my pre-orders are locked again this a.m. WTF is TFAW doing? Shut down and don’t ship or provide some clarity as to what is shipping this month, so that I can manage this situation. Sheesh

They changed all the order dates to 4/2/25 as well. How the hell are they going to know who ordered first to fulfill first

So maybe they’re fulfilling orders by proximity to their location… the closer you are, you get your comics first. Nobody from NY gonna waste their money and time traveling cross country to “get’em”… hehe…
The point is this week and next week I have books that I pre-ordered like 3 months ago that I still want and probably will not be able to find at local shops this late in the game that they should fulfill. When I ordered them from TfAw they said nothing to customers about not being able to get them and that is ■■■■■■■ Long story short I could have ordered from elsewhere but they never let customers know that they were closing and still allowed for pre-orders.

I’d even settle for a highly recommended, reliable eBay preorder seller if someone has one as a go to (or a friend, etc).
In looking at my preorders on TFAW, I’m not too overly concerned but there are a couple I want to secure and not gamble on just to be safe.
-the Spears Hexy Witch boobs cover
-Gleason foil Spidey vs Godzilla cover
-Bradshaw Godzilla vs Spidey Venomized cover
-Doom Academy #3 Lemos cover
Spears covers “should” be plentiful at shops…the others won’t be. Likely none.

My guess is they’ll just go by whomever has the biggest orders first, to get the most they can done?
Some of them they’ll probably just try to cancel (because they’re closing anyway, they don’t care about if the account gets in trouble). Otherwise they’ll probably just write whatever gets delivered off and destroy it. Or if someone is still around in the warehouse when stuff comes, they’ll put it somewhere people who work at DH can grab.

Been playing around with Third Eye.
I placed two orders and it seems they will ship “per order” when all has been received in the order.
I kinda don’t like that. I liked the TFAW order as you go, and ship whatever is in the house at the end of the month. Now I’m not waiting for that 1 stupid book that is delayed 6 months so I don’t get my entire order for 6 months?

Yup, I don’t like the shop per order option. I like my online shops in Canada, they have a “hold box” option like you have at an LCS. You tell them when you want them to ship your order and then they ship it out.

MyComicShop is one of the only other places I know of that allows you to have a weekly/monthly style shipping option for orders. The space that took in the TFAW warehouse was always a huge issue that caused headaches, and a lot of sites/stores don’t have a huge warehouse to operate out of for orders.

Or just convince your local shop to use League of Comic Geeks. I shifted 100% of my TFAW orders to that a couple years back, and it’s amazing.
