Tfaw has gone into the Mystery Box game with their own TFAW Mystery Box.

They are stating it is a $100 value.

Each TFAW Comic Mystery Box contains at least one 1:100 variant, one 1:50 variant, one 1:25 variant, as well as a TFAW Exclusive cover, and a random retro comic. There is also a 30% chance of the mystery box containing a graded book

I just got my latest TFAW shipment. All books arrived damaged. At least it has been two months since I got anything from them that was beat up due to lousy packing. Who runs that place?!? No reason to spend $100 when the odds of getting it poorly packed and damaged are roughly 1 out of 5. That’s how it has been for me anyway.

Mine have all arrived well packaged for several shipments.

That being said, I’ll be getting those large facsimile in the next shipment and I’m wondering how that’s going to work out…

  • Random books that TFAW can’t sell
  • 30% chance CGC: <$50 (and nice gaslighting B.S. signed McFarlane comic picture, TFAW)
  • Time to List, Sell, Package, Post Office all this crap: >1 hour

They might as well sell their unsold crap to the company that repackages books to sell at Walmart, Meijers, etc…
