I’d say it’s the other way around. Gremlins stole from Yoda in Empire.

Yeah, hard to call something ripped off when Yoda (who baby Yoda is based off of) pre-dates your own character you claim is being ripped off…

1st episode was good. Definitely up their game in VFX & CGI quality. Cinematography was great !

I was a little disappointed in the first episode.
It seemed like a mid season filler episode and not a strong opener.
It sets up his season long quest. Felt like a video game, sorta.

With the focus on pirates, I wonder if we get some backstory of the main pirates from Resistance.
I didn’t understand why Mando went back to see the Armorer. She already asked him if he took off his helmet, and told him what he had to do to redeem himself.
She should have been like, “I already told you this in Books of Boba Fett! Idiot, now leave me alone!”
Was that not awkward to anyone else?
