I want to do a quick accessible list of comics to hunt for. The idea is that instead of keeping a ton of notes, we can pull up the list quickly (updated) that has books to look for. I always freeze when hunting and have to go back through my list for books to find that are selling well. Please feel free to add comments to expand the list. If you see any that have cooled off on the list, please suggest an edit as well.

Maybe. But I can’t remember things. Also I have a big shopping trip coming up and want to make sure I can find it. lol.

That would happen to me to while hunting back issues and such at shops. On the way, I’d be fine, going through my head everything to look for. Then right when I’m in front of the books, it’s like… WTF was I looking for again? Like job interviews questions, freeze and look like a stupid turd… walk out of the interview and then it hits you with right answer… doh!

I was referring back to it as I recall we all had write access…the benefit was it didn’t have to go through an entire thread of posts to complete the list.

A new list is fine, but I don’t want to have to scroll through countless posts…

This is work for someone, but could we prune out all of the comments like this one and just update the initial post? Once this gets to 3938 posts, it’ll be impossible to use. Seems like we need just one post. When additions are made, those get consolidated back to the original post.

Can you embed a Google Sheets into the post? It would be much easier to update and would be dynamically updated in the first post. Also you could control access to who was able to do so.

The forums have the ability to make it turn into more of a wiki style post. We tried that in the past and no one would go update and edit the original.

Maybe I’ll look into seeing if I can’t convert to wiki, remove comments and disable comments (locked) but only the initial comment can be updated by all and not the OP.

I’ve made Anthony’s top post Wiki format. Let me know if regular non admins/mods can edit? I went ahead and added D-Rog’s list.

The other thing to keep in mind is, cleanup and removal of the hunt list when they’re no longer worthy. I could see the list becoming too hard when it starts getting super long itself and becoming overwhelming.

What does everyone think of that formatting? Alphabetical? Creating them as headers, just three — under the Letter and make sure to space before the next header makes them linkable as well.
