Still think the storyline (comic) is worth collecting - great story; may be more affordable after the movie. But lets wait and see; I could be wrong in my assumptions about the movie.
Just like She Hulk, I think it looks great and yâall complain too much.
Already 2 new Thor:got #2 slabs listed since trailer. People trying to cash out
Looks fun, so Iâm into it.
Iâm optimistic. I think itâs clear that the Gorr character is going to be gradually corrupted by (presumably) the Necrosword, and thatâs also going to be reflected by him sucking the colour out of the world around him - so making the pre-Gorr world hyper-colourful enhances that effect. A full reveal of Gorr in the movieâs third act could well look more like the comic version. The very short fight scenes with Gorr looked pretty cool, so fingers crossed. I think Waititi is very talented at balancing drama and comedy, and for marketing reasons theyâre highlighting the comedy here in this trailer.
For me, much of the draw of Gorr is his origin and the reasons behind his hate for the Gods. It was what made him such a good character in the comics. If they can capture that origin and that all consuming loss and rage at the loss of his wife, child, and race (even in a very quick flashback/vision/whatever, then that will go a long ways towards making him more interesting on screen (versus just another Marvel bad guy out to destroy stuff).
Iâm sure theyâll do that - theyâve got him in the trailer vowing to kill all gods, so theyâll have to show why heâs doing that. And modern Marvel seems to understand that villains need a relatable motivation to really work.
I think it looks great. If itâs like the last Thor movie, itâs gonna be top notch!
Death of Thor
Looks fun, which it should be. Bale is a damn fine actor and as Gor, he looks better than an action figure.
See, you all specâing on the wrong character. Gorr should have never been your focus.
It was Jane Fosterâs Thor all along.
Well, villains come and go while heroes are normally always around⊠so yes, always spec more on the heroes rather than the villains!
people getting stupid and cryingâŠ
âfixed in postââŠLMAO !!!
Christian Bale as Gorr will be epic and Iâm not worried at all as to how this will play out. If people are so enamored with how a character looks compared to how the superstar actor will play him, then itâs their (potential) loss.
Gorrâs look as a comic book character is not known to a non-comic readers so if Bale plays him well, it will be a huge success. Sometimes you have to stop having a comic book mindset on looks and simply hope that the acting works out better.
Bigger issues in the world than fretting over this⊠Geez!
Like the Amber Heard/Johnny Depp trialâŠ
Ughhh⊠no. Iâm so tired of those two twats as the headlines. I donât give two flying Fâs about Depp and Heard⊠Geez!
Pooping in the bed is very very very important to me
People can call themselves âMarket Influencersâ but theyâre never going to influence the studios. Studios donât care about speculators selling to speculators.
