Theres a really good discussion on the CGC Forums on ‘What are Gorrs’ powers, and how does he kill Gods’. Some interesting takes on the question. Not a plug for them, but got me thinking about it. .
Just makes me think that Marvel could have mined the comic story for a real movie classic (trilogy) as the comic, rather than the ‘everything and the kitchen sink’ approach they seem to have taken (based on the ads), for a quick $$$ return.

They saying Gorr has tested higher than any other villain in test screenings for Marvel. Higher than Thanos, Loki, Killmonger, etc. So maybe a chance that Gorr won’t be a one and done.

May be more related to what C. Bale brings to the role. The fan in me hopes Gorr and the movie pans out.

Interesting ! Can they tie the Venom and Thor movies, being licensed to different companies ? I mean they’ve done it before, but Venom is not even in the same universe of the multiverse (I think).
Can you do Knull without Venom and Miles? I don’t think Sony will be as willing as they are with Peter Parker.

I think they (Marvel/Disney) can claim they own Knull as he was recon’d to have a first appearance in “Thor: God of Thunder” series…

Yep he will fall under the Marvel banner, the one way they could use Knull with no tie to Venom or Spiders would be a Eternals movie with the Celestials.

But they would lose a great opportunity to explain the symbiote storyline, and connect to Venom.
The end of no way home did leave venom behind, so they are in the same universe now. (Sorry if you haven’t seen no way home)

I am intrigued Gorr is testing so well. Bale is a great actor when used well, so I’m not surprised.

Honestly I think knull can be done without gorr and vice versa. Knull was just retconned to be from thor but like jessica jones was introduced and retconned to be in asm 4 yet you never hear people being like “yooo new spider-man movie they gotta have jessica jones!!” Mind you D cates also retconned that lord of light stuff to be captain universe lol and I haven’t really seen that brought up since
