Lol. My oldest liked the original ones more then the 3d ones. But was always scared of Diesel 10. I rememeber him running crying every time Diesel 10 came one lol.
Theyâre two
Theyâre four
Theyâre six
Theyâre eight
Shunting trucks and hauling freight
Red and green and brown and blue
Theyâre a really useful crew
Nah, donât know what youâre all talking aboutâŠ
I used to be the same way at the end of the Land of the Lost introâŠwhen Grumpy would turn toward the screen and the camera would enter his mouth like you were about to be swallowed wholeâŠ
Iâd run out of the room, hide behind a chair every time. I was 3 or 4âŠbut stil remember it clear as day.
Another related story.
My daughter was obsessed with Thomas and friends. She thought a stomach ache was a boiler ache for the longest time.
Anyway, every year the local scenic railroad has a weekend with Thomas. We took her to see him once. So they have this full sized Thomas replica on the groundsâŠitâs mouth moves and eyes roll but doesnât say anythingâŠ
So we take my daughter, whoâs probably 3, up to see itâŠand I guess she was not expecting it to be âaliveââŠit opens its mouth and rolls its eyes, not saying a wordâŠ
Before we could say anything she had already turned and ran in the opposite direction, full speedâŠinto a crowd of strangers and wasnât looking back or waiting for us to followâŠgone.âŠ
Had to chase her down. But she has not liked animatronics ever sinceâŠ
My daughter was obsessed with Dora the Explorer when she was young. We had an extra bedroom on the 2nd floor where she would often watch Dora. Her favourite activity was to jump on the bed watching Dora and singing along to the songs. She, of course, ignored our strict instructions not to jump on the bed and one day we can hear her yelling something at the top of her lungs. We have no idea what it is but it turned out that she was yelling, âAyĂșdame, AyĂșdameâ. Being Canadian we donât know even a lick of Spanish (beyond dos cervezas) and are more likely to respond to âAide-moiâ than âAyudameâ but Dora most certainly spoke Spanish. We only went up to look because she sounded frantic and continued yelling âAyudameâ at the top of her lungs, which of course, we had no idea what it meant.
Turns out she was jumping on the bed and got too close to edge of the bed. The bed was pushed up against the wall and she had jumped up and when she came down hitting too close to the edge that was against the wall, had gotten herself wedged between the bed and wall and couldnât get free. I still chuckle thinking about finding her wedged there yelling âHelp me!â in a language I couldnât understand.
I loved Land of the Lost
Itâs true
Just got out of the movie.
I really dont know how this movie is at 89%
It wasnt awful, but its not 89% either.
I did get a REAL 3D comic though
89% on rotten tomatoes just means that 89% of critics found it to be at least 6 out of 10
I understand. and i dont know how 89% gave it 6 or more.
Somewhere in-between kinda bad to less than average for anyone not asleep at the wheel would feel more appropriate. Maybe thatâs a 6, but it aint a 7 or above.
Contrived dialogue.
Phony relationship building
I donât know where they get these story writers anymore.
Give it your own rating and donât worry about what others think about it⊠thatâs the real goal, watch, enjoy or not⊠only one way to find out thoughâŠ
wonder what he thought of kraven
I am enjoying the movie. I love that we find out what the * stands for (Their full name is West Chesapeake Valley Thunderbolts) which is awesome because I love this because I live in what is considered the West Chesapeake Valley (which no one calls it, we say Western Shore).
I want to see it but Iâm admittedly more excited for the Fantastic Four flick in July.
