Whatever happened to Weapon H, Hulk and wolverine mashup?
Fun fact. I was just getting back into comics at this point when Weapon H made his first appearance. I think it was in Totally Awesome Hulk or something like that. At that time I wasn’t into speccing or flipping. I was going into my lcs to pick up my weekly pulls Saga, Manifest Destiny, Rat Queens etc. It was these Image comics that got back into the hobby.
So I would occasionally browse comic news sites to see what was coming up, solicitations etc. I came across a bleedingstool article that Weapon H’s first appearance was already fetching $50 on ebay. It was out that week and people were really getting fomo. I was in my shop and saw a stack of copies there so I picked up 1 copy. Sold it on ebay for $50.
For some reason I never caught the flipping/speccing bug until the I found CHU during the pandemic and lockdown.

Same here, was getting back into comics and also heard of this wolverine hulk mashup and felt I needed to have a copy. bought a copy on eBay for $20, and thought “this is crazy, spending $20 for a new book. What am I doing?!”

Could be nothing, just a thought, but with Amazing Spider-man 25 and 26 coming out as a big issue, I revisted the flash of upcoming marvel events in Timeless. With Marvel also referencing the Dr. Octopus transferring to Peter Parker issue as a comparison, I think that devise that Mary Jane has now, that gives her “powers”, is going to take Peter’s powers making her the new Spider-Man in the timeless flash. As for the possible death, who knows, but I hope I’m wrong.
The Timeless books are a good hint of what’s to come, not many things haven’t happened yet. That Spider-Man in Timeless volume 2 is probably one of the coming Edge characters and that book may see some heat if so.

One didn’t come out of that whole “mash up” period in comics that followed Weapon H and The Batman Who Laughs?
Not on any covers for nightcrawlers #3 so if he does appear there we can wait for the 2nd print. So maybe Sins of sinister dominion #1 or Edge of Spiderverse if he doesn’t appear in nightcrawlers #3

Character designs look pretty cool…hopefully the story is worth reading. Let the speculation begin for who this Power Man is…Any guesses???
