I’ve yet to read it, though I have a complete set. I’m going to sign up for Marvel Unlimited and read all my books digitally.

So a few months ago I sold two books and really made out. On a $100 investment on an Amazing Fantasy #15 Newsstand & All New Marvel Now Point One 2nd Print CGC 9.6. Both books cost a total of $100. I wanna say $40 for the AF15 and $60 for the other. I sold the AF15 for $1250 & $1350 for the Kamala Khan First Full Appearance.
I of course told my sister and brother in law because it was exciting and a nice chunk of change. They began asking me to help them in picking out a few books. I of course had several books in mind that I thought had a lot of room to grow. I actually gave them a pretty long list of about 20 books or so to watch out for.
My brother in law collected comics back in the day so he had a good idea on grading and some of the characters. I just provided the list of books with an emphasis on a few of them. They did all the buys on eBay and I’m just now looking through some of what they bought. My sister doesn’t like any clutter so there living with me until the times right to list them. I’ll be listing them and shipping them myself but on their eBay.
The main book I told them to pick up was Darth Vader #3 First Dr Aphra. The order I told them was the 4th, 1st, 3rd, 2nd Prints. In that order. All except one are in the 9.6-9.8 range & possibly higher with a press.
Set of the 2-4th Prints was $160. The others ranged from $30-45.

There’s only a few of these books to go through and the highest dollar purchase was Captain America #6 Newsstand CGC 9.0 for $225. I’m still waiting for this one to pop. I think at a minimum they should double their money. This book would grade higher with a press IMO.

These were bought between 2-3 months ago so at that time they were more or less full price.

I think I’ll just list it as being possibly press able for a higher grade. My luck it would peak while being graded.
They will be very happy with the outcome when Aphra is finally introduced. It WILL happen. I think this time next year we will either have confirmation or have actually seen her on D+.

Hoping Black Panther #4 heats up again at some point… bought a small stack of them when they were still cover price in most places right before it heated up way back when. Only had a chance to sell a few before it cooled. Basically paid for all my copies but still sitting on a bunch.

Yeah me as well. It’s one of those books that I will continue to pickup if it’s under a certain price.
Where did you sell that copy of young avengers #1 for $85 at? They’re all way way under that on eBay.

Sold it on eBay and the last I checked it was the only newsstand copy available. Buyer hasn’t paid but has excellent feedback.

Snagged this for $8.50 including shipping. I always include the shipping on all the prices as it’s what it cost to get it.
I believe it’s the first appearance of Jessica Cruz’s Ringed Hand.
