Transformers on the list (not sure how many times it’s been nominated before). 40 years of constant popularity, still going strong. I think that qualifies…
Edit: 4 times. GI Joe, Star Wars and He-man are already in from the 80s. Will this be the year…?

Its funny I was watching some documentary show about the Transformers and Go-Bots. Go-Bots were first to market with the transforming toy idea and they were apparently going to go with a different name for their toy: Transformers! Of course, they thought it was too long and clunky and would never catch on like the idea they decided to go with. Go-Bots!!! Ouch.
Their theme wasn’t all that helpful either…
