DC has been playing serious games. They cooked the books with Batman 158 just to get to 400k orders.
400k is possible with the exclusives and the 25 for 25 bundles

A lot of people did. I will say though, I kept up with the series and I actually came to really enjoy it. Story never took itself seriously and it was kinda like a Saturday morning cartoon
I thought Joker was introduced in issue #1, since they even named him in dialogue??? 
I know cover A is usually the one to get but the Sienkiewicz cover (C) is pretty nice.
Did they simply just FLUFFed up solicitation to sucker me out? Cause I pre-order > 5 on this … sigh… Hope he shows up. Maybe spoiler => New Absolute Joker = Absolute Freeze.
What sucks is that in a few years, these kind of books will go the way of New 52 and the original Ultimate Universe where the books have lost their value albeit the downturn in the economy.
I was under the impression that I read somewhere that issue #7 and #8 were gonna be a flashback issues to when he was just getting started at Batman.
Some of the OG Ultimate Universe is still hot. It has a role in the latest one with the Maker and Miles tho.
