I was thinking that, too. Seems like a flashback to dopey characters of the past. And that’s not necessarily bad. I don’t mean that everyone has to enjoy this specific character, but just the willingness to still try dumb ideas in mainstream superhero comics, and not always write pseudo-serious drama.
