At this point I care less how it started and just wish everyone would have taken more steps to end the pandemic as opposed to making it now endemic and something that will never leave.

It’s how life and evolution works. Viruses and larger animals learn to co-exist. We forget, we are all part of this ecosystem that thrives and lives off one another. It sucks that at times that means death but that’s the circle of life.

The opinion of the Dept of Energy doesn’t tip the scales too far for me.
“The department joins the FBI in backing the lab-leak theory, while four other agencies and a national intelligence panel believe the virus emerged through natural transmission, and two are undecided, the Journal wrote.”
I’d rather see the information.
I am all for not shooting down any theory.
