Well, supposedly readers are saying Codex is gonna die at the end of the arc so it’s a short origin? 
Nah, we are gonna have Codex at least through King in Black. He might die there. That’s my theory.
We should have a running poll on when everyone thinks Codex will die…

Post Venom 29 Update: Venom 25 3rd print is still selling for more money than Venom 27 3rd print. Naturally, it may take more time for Venom 27 3rd print to catch up if it ever will. Codex may be dead before it’s able to, tbd

People know Codex can’t survive because they can’t outright kill Knull. Codex being his Vader is set up for Dylan to kill “himself” aka Codex. The book to get will be Dylan’s transformation into whatever superhero he becomes.
And his first appearance.
This is a unique situation in that there are essentially two Dylans, one being Codex. So even if Dylan does kill Codex, isn’t it still possible that Dylan will ultimately come to resemble Codex? Of course not necessarily so, but it’s a unique situation and it wouldn’t be so crazy if Dylan ultimately bears a likeness to Codex

He would play so much better as a villain. Especially with him starting as an annoying kid. More in the vain of Joffrey from Game of Thrones than goodie good like Eleven from Stranger things imo
Yup, I’d vote to make him a villain… and just make the occasional appearance from time to time to see The Avengers kick his butt… and watch Eddie cry that he lost his son everytime he encounters him…

Codex spawned a whole future universe filled with symbiotes, Knull spawned the symbiotes, Dylan Knull Codex can control and manipulate the symbiotes. Knull is Codex and Dylan, because like 3 Jokers you guessed it 3 Knulls coming to a Marvel miniseries soon.
