Maybe Venom bonds with Peter Parker as ultimate Venom. There’s also Ann Weying and more likely Dylan Brock to go with the Knull storyline. Maybe we see Codex too so we can hopefully clear out our Venom 25s and 27s…

For me, the Venom character is all about that crazy dynamic with Eddie and Venom. The back and forth dialogues and such. While the Venom movies were a bit of a mess (can’t pass judgement on the next one of course), they did do a very good job with that in my opinion.
If they can’t capture that…the entire essence of what makes Venom so unique and sort of fun, crazy, rollercoaster ride esque is lost and you might as well just leave it be.

Who is playing him?
The names floating around the rumor mill from various “insiders” are Norman Reedus and Andy Serkis. Rhys Ifans is listed on IMDB without a character and also has been mentioned out there. I have not read/heard of anything 100% confirmed on anyone.
“One movie could never do justice to Knull,” director and co-writer Kelly Marcel told IGN via email.
“We were always aware of Knull, but knew that we needed to lay the foundation of the Venom character, and his relationship with Eddie, before introducing him. This is just the beginning for Knull,” Marcel revealed.
“We’re in spoiler territory now and we hope some of the fun of watching this movie is not knowing what will happen, but trust me, we know full well how important Knull is to the fans, so just as we laid a foundation for Venom, we hope we are doing the same for Knull,” she said. “The King in Black is way too powerful for ‘one and done.’”
